technical description

Titanium has the characteristics of lightweight, high strength, and strong heat resistance, and it is a new type of bellows raw material.

As a titanium bellows manufacturer, we believe that titanium alloy will have a broader future in the bellows industry.

Material grade

The common grades of titanium materials in China are TA0, TA1, TA2, TA3, etc.

Taking the United States as an example, common titanium material grades in the international market include SB 265 Gr.1, Gr.2, Gr.3, etc.

Product Features

Lightweight

Titanium is lighter than stainless steel.

It weighs almost half of the same volume as stainless steel.

Customers with lightweight needs will choose titanium bellows to reduce the weight of the car exhaust system.

High strength

Titanium has a density of 4.51g/m³.

It is 3.5 times stronger than stainless steel, the highest of all industrial metal materials.

Strong heat resistance

Automotive exhaust systems have high requirements for heat resistance of materials.

In comparison, titanium bellows’ heat resistance and dissipation are better than stainless bellows.

Material Cost

The material cost of titanium is much higher than that of stainless steel.

Moreover, due to the increased strength of titanium, plastic deformation is poor.

Titanium bellows are very difficult to form, and the scrap rate is high.

Compared with stainless bellows, corrugation parameters such as height and pitch of the same size titanium bellows need to be recalculated and selected appropriate values.

Although the cost of titanium bellows is relatively high, their service life is much longer than that of stainless steel bellows. From the perspective of long-term economic benefits, titanium bellows are also a good choice.

Application

Titanium bellows are often used in industries with high-performance requirements or high corrosion resistance requirements.

Its typical application industries or fields are chemical, refining, aviation, valves, automobiles, medical instruments, and others.

As a professional titanium bellows manufacturer, we prepare a large stock from 2.5 to 4 inches.

Frequently Asked Questions

With 15 years of experience in this industry, our commitment remains steadfast toward its continual development.

We provide samples to ensure that customers can thoroughly assess the quality of our bellows and make informed decisions.
Most orders can be swiftly shipped as we maintain a substantial inventory of standard size bellows.

The theoretical definition of vacuum is a volume without any matter inside it. In a general sense, a vacuum is any state of space that is below normal atmospheric pressure.

“Yes! The quality is excellent with the bellows and have had great feedback from our customers. We'll prepare the new order soon.”
