EJMA bellows are metal bellows designed and manufactured in accordance with EJMA standards. EJMA is the abbreviation for the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association in the United States. The EJMA standards establish a unified set of regulations for the design, manufacturing, and installation of metal bellows. They ensure the safety and reliability of metal bellows in a variety of industrial applications.

Since the first edition was issued in 1985, the EJMA standards have evolved into the most recognized bellows standards in the world. In August 2015, EJMA released the 10th edition, which is the latest version. Our design and calculations follow the EJMA standards to ensure a balance between bellows performance and life time. If needed, we can issue EJMA calculation sheets to our customers. In China, GB/T 12777-2019 is also widely used, and it is a national recommended standard primarily based on the EJMA standards. The regulations for the design, manufacturing, and inspection of bellows expansion joints for these two are basically the same, but each has its own characteristics. Chinese bellows manufacturers will refer to both standards and verify them when designing and calculating.
