KF flange is an ISO standard quick-release flange. According to its quick-release characteristics, it is sometimes called a QF flange.

Some areas also call it the NW flange. Taking DN25 as an example, its common expressions are KF25, ISO-KF25, QF25, NW25, ISO-NWF25, DN25 and DN-KF5.

KF flange is genderless, and the structure and specifications of the two connected flanges are the same. The back of the KF flange has a 15-degree chamfer to facilitate clamping.

The size of the KF flange depends on the nominal inner diameter of the vacuum flange. There are some flanges with the same outside diameter as their adjacent larger sizes, which allows them to use the same size clamp, such as KF10 and KF16, KF20 and KF25, KF32 and KF40.

KF flange sizes range from KF10 to KF50, all sizes are KF10, KF16, KF20, KF25, KF32, KF40 and KF50. Among them, KF10, KF20 and KF32 are less common.

KF flanges achieve a vacuum seal by squeezing a centering ring with a rubber O-ring between the two flanges, and an external clamp holds them firmly together.

KF flanges are suitable for pressure ranges from atmospheric pressure to 1 × 10-8Torr or mbar, and temperature ranges from 0 to 180 degrees Celsius.

The most commonly used materials for KF flanges are stainless steel 304 and 316L. Of course, we also provide some other materials for customers to choose from.
