CF bellows refers specifically to vacuum bellows connected to CF (ConFlat) flanges at both ends. One end of the two flanges at the connection end is fixed and the other end is rotatable to facilitate installation calibration. CF flange has a unique knife-edge sealing surface, which is different from the soft seal of KF bellows and ISO bellows. The two mating flanges squeeze the metal gasket sandwiched between them through a knife edge to obtain better sealing. At the same time, the addition of metal gaskets also enables the CF bellows to withstand a wider range of temperature changes. CF flange is mainly used for ultra-high vacuum applications, while KF bellows and ISO bellows are suitable for medium and low vacuum use. CF bellows not as widely used as KF bellows and ISO bellows, depending on its specific application.
