Exhaust Flex Joint

The exhaust flex joint provides a flexible connection between the various components of the automotive exhaust system. The exhaust flex joint is the most widely used flexible solution in automotive exhaust systems. With decades of development in the automotive industry, it has developed into a standard connector. Exhaust flex joints provided by different suppliers are basically the same in size and structure. The most basic exhaust flex joint consists of a bellows, an outer mesh, and two caps. Caps at both ends hold the parts tightly together by clamping. To suit different applications, manufacturers also offer inner braid liner and interlock liner types. The three of them constitute the basic product types of exhaust flex joints.
