Valve Bellows

Valve bellows are metal bellows used for sealing inside the valve. Limited by the internal space of the valve, valve bellows are composed of precision bellows. It is usually provided in the form of an assembly, with one end welded to the valve stem and the other end to the bonnet. The flexibility of the bellows provides elastic support for the required stroke of the valve’s opening and closing. When the valve is closing, the bellows is stretched. When the valve is opening, the bellows is compressed. Valve bellows act as sealing elements to isolate the internal flow medium from contact with the valve body and the external environment. Bellows valves are mechanically sealed, which greatly reduces the leakage rate caused by traditional packing seals.
