vacuum bellows

Vacuum bellows is a kind of metal bellows that can be used in vacuum pipeline systems, which is different from common positive pressure bellows. It inherits the advantages of flexible bellows such as flexibility, expansion and eccentric compensation. According to different molding methods, vacuum bellows can be divided into two types: hydraulically formed bellows and edge welded bellows. Here we focus on the hydraulically formed bellows.

From $9.00*

high flexibility

Hydroformed vacuum bellows hose is much more flexible and lighter than the rubber expansion formed corrugated metal hose.

bright surface

Our vacuum bellows use BA (Bright annealed) surface finish stainless steel, which is brighter than ordinary stainless steel.

Automatic welding

Use welding machines imported from Japan for automatic welding. Welds are free of oxidation and are more resistant to corrosion.

vacuum bellows types

kF Bellows

Both ends are connected by KF flange, easy to install and disassemble. It is the most widely used type of vacuum bellows.

ISO Bellows

One type is an ISO bolt hole flange with bolt holes and the other is a caliper flange attached with caliper screws

CF Bellows

Both ends are ConFlat flanged and fixed by bolts. The flange on one side can be rotated.

edge welded bellows

Compared to formed metal bellows, it has a larger stroke length and a more precise spring rate.

* Lengths can be customized up to 4000 mm according to customer's requirement.

our advantages

Hydroformed bellows

Our vacuum bellows are constructed from ultra-thin wall stainless steel hydroformed bellows and equipped with vacuum flanges at both ends, using stainless steel 304 or 316L as the primary materials. Vacuum bellows not only preserve the exceptional flexibility of metal hoses but also facilitate effortless expansion and contraction. In essence, our vacuum bellows are designed to withstand substantial bending, expansion, and contraction, as well as eccentric motion.

CNC machining

Utilizing advanced CNC machine tools, vacuum fittings undergo precise processing, ensuring exact dimensions and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. High-quality stainless steel serves as the raw material for these vacuum fittings, guaranteeing no deformation after high-temperature welding, thereby preventing any leakage in high vacuum.

automatic welding

Utilizing advanced Japanese welding equipment, the final assembly welding of vacuum bellows achieves full penetration automatic welding. The welded surface is impeccably smooth, devoid of any oxidation. The vacuum flange remains undistorted after welding, ensuring the seamless functioning of the vacuum bellows in high vacuum settings.

braid
cover

A braid cover prevents potential damage to the inside vacuum bellows from external environments while also enhancing the bellows assembly’s pressure-bearing capacity.

100% Testing

helium leak testing

We have invested in advanced and expensive helium leak detectors to perform 100% testing on all vacuum bellows. Whether your vacuum bellows are intended for rough vacuum or high and ultra-high vacuum (HUV) applications, our robust testing capabilities ensure that each product meets the highest standards.

At every stage of production, we conduct stringent quality inspections through multiple rigorous testing procedures, ensuring that every vacuum bellow you receive has undergone thorough quality control. These strict testing processes guarantee the reliability and durability of our vacuum bellows.

Frequently Asked Questions

With 15 years of experience in this industry, our commitment remains steadfast toward its continual development.

We provide samples to ensure that customers can thoroughly assess the quality of our bellows and make informed decisions.
Most orders can be swiftly shipped as we maintain a substantial inventory of standard size bellows.

The theoretical definition of vacuum is a volume without any matter inside it. In a general sense, a vacuum is any state of space that is below normal atmospheric pressure.

“Yes! The quality is excellent with the bellows and have had great feedback from our customers. We'll prepare the new order soon.”
