Monel Hose

Monel Hose

Monel is a nickel-copper alloy. It has become a raw material for metal hoses because of its excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Bellows forming is a challenge when producing Monel hose because Monel work-hardens quickly. The material cost of Monel is more than 6-8 times that of ordinary stainless steel, which does not take into account the availability of materials with specific specifications. As a very expensive metal raw material, the current use of Monel is limited to specific industries such as aerospace and marine. Monel hose becomes an option only when stainless steel hose cannot meet the application requirements. Our Monel hose is mainly used in chlorine transfer, valve sealing, etc.
